Award Winning Sales Agent

With over 20 years’ experience in the building and real estate industries in New Zealand and the UK, Mark has seen all the ups and downs that the market can throw at you! Focusing his results in Auckland’s North Shore, his ability to create buyers for properties that others have been ‘unable to move’ and his persistence to ‘squeeze every last drop’ from the market has seen him be an obvious choice amongst North Shore locals!

Your House. Your Sale. Your Way.

Unlike many other real estate agents that just have one way of selling, Mark and the team, offer a range of ways to sell your house that best suit you and the outcome you require. If you want 3 open homes and an auction or quietly on the market with private viewings, Mark and the team will work with you to achieve the very best result, even if that requires taking more time.

Thinking of selling?
This is how Mark and the team work.

Call Mark now for a free, confidential chat. No hard sell, no pushy agent, just good, honest feedback.

Request an appraisal

We come to you for a discussion about your objectives. It could be why you are thinking of selling, or you may just want an indication of what your home is worth, is it worth renovating and likely value after renovating. You may be thinking of sub dividing. We can give you an expert opinion based on available market value.

Get to know Mark

Our initial meeting is a great way for you to get to know Mark and the team, ask any questions, find out how he works, what the sales process looks like. Its a good idea to have some questions ready that you would like to ask Mark.

Presenting the appraisal

The next step in the process is Mark returns and presents his findings to you. This includes recent sales of similar properties to help everyone understand the likely value range of the property.  Mark will also present his ideas on how to best achieve your goals and any marketing plan to support your sales campaign.

Following Up

If you need more time to consider the proposal, Mark will follow up after a few days to see if you have any questions or thoughts that you would like explained or clarified.

Stand Down

Once you have signed the proposal, you have a 24 hour ‘stand down’, where in the unlikely event you change your mind or your situation changes unexpectedly you can null and void the contract.

Ready to go!

Great, your house is listed and you are ready to go! Mark and the team will give you advice on cleaning, staging and how to make your house as attractive as possible to potential buyers.

Marketing

The next exciting step is getting your home photographed. These photographs will then be used to create your advertising and marketing and will be loaded on the Harcourts and other house sales websites as agreed in your marketing plan.

First Open Home

If you have chosen to have open homes, Mark will arrive early to set up in preparation. This is your chance to go for a walk on the beach, grab a coffee or do a bit of shopping. Once the open homes are finished for the week, Mark will call all the visitors to your house for feedback. The findings are presented to you in a weekly report by Mark.

Ready For Auction or Tender Close

If you have chosen auction or tender, Mark will work with the pool of buyers, encouraging them to see market value and making sure they are in a position to make unconditional bids or offers. Are if there are any terms individual buyers require, he will present them to you to decide if you will accept them if they are the highest bidder (ie. longer settlement date, smaller deposit etc).

For Sale By Negotation

It’s not unknown for offers to come in very quickly using this method of sale. Mark will present any offers to you as they arise during the campaign.

The Big Day

It’s auction day! Using the feedback of buyers as to where they see value, you will be asked to set your reserve for the auction. If you don’t reach reserve at the auction (which rarely happens), don’t panic, most houses will sell within 48 hours after auction as buyers that were not unconditional at auction date, are able to make their offers to you.

Congratulations, you’ve sold!

Mark and the team will guide you your final days at your old home. They will make sure the lawyers have everything they need to settle on the agreed day. You are now free to move on to the next exciting chapter of your life.
